In April, the median home price in the greater Austin metro area (Austin-Round Rock MSA) stood at $466,705. The region experienced 4,115 new listings and had 8,285 active listings. Concurrently, 3,267 listings entered Pending Sales, showing minimal year-over-year change.

City of Austin:
The median home price in the City of Austin was $565,000. Owner-occupants favored well-located homes, which remained popular. Price fluctuations due to interest rates had relatively little impact.

Travis County:
In Travis County, the median home price for April was $537,500. The average time on the market was 56 days. The county witnessed a 7% decrease in new listings, with 2,047 being listed compared to the previous year.

Williamson County:
Following a decline caused by high interest rates, Williamson County experienced a slight rebound in April, with the median home price reaching $445,000. The county recorded only 1,247 new listings, and 1,092 listings entered the market as Pending Sales, reflecting a 4% increase year-over-year.

Bastrop County:
Bastrop County observed a significant increase in its median home price during the peak season, reaching $380,000.

Hays County:
The median home price in Hays County amounted to $416,500 in April, indicating a 16% decrease compared to the previous year.

Caldwell County:
Caldwell County saw the smallest rebound during the quarter, with the median home price reaching $297,000. This figure represented a 15% decrease year-over-year.
