Reflecting on 2024: A Year of Growth, Challenges, and Gratitude

As we close 2024, I am deeply grateful for the team of brilliant and dedicated thinkers at Real International, which has allowed us to serve many people and their families by building and managing their real estate wealth. My life’s service is about helping people create the futures they desire, “their dream life,” whether it is an employee’s career or a client’s real estate wealth. I want people’s experience with me and my company to be transformative. Real International serves legacies and transforms generations through the power of real estate. 

“Learning the lesson and moving on”. Two fundamental principles will continue to guide Real International’s approach: number one, most things will prove cyclical, and number two, the most significant opportunities for gain and loss arise when people forget rule number one. 2024 allowed Real International to level up our thinking as managing our real estate assets grew—the call to develop an investment vehicle to serve our investors emerged. Therefore, in 2025, a signature focus is our real estate investment fund with a diversified strategic approach to real estate wealth development and management. 

Success emerged in 2024 as we secured and passed on to our client’s below-market real estate opportunities in commercial and residential locations along the path of signature population growth in our target areas between Austin, Texas, and San Antonio, Texas. We are grateful to have developed committed relationships in the land and development communities that have leveraged our success in sharing these investments with our clients. We will continue to scout opportunities and conduct the due diligence required to pass on this type of built-in equity value to our clients. 

2024 has been a testament to the cyclical nature of our industry. It has allowed us to reflect on the last ten years and secure our vision for the next ten years. The model we will implement for the next ten years will focus on our strengths: gaining market share during this recessionary market, serving our loyal clients as trusted investment advisors and partners, and building a professional team to deliver institutional-quality expertise and experiences. 

We will continue to position ourselves to capitalize on market dynamics by identifying high-potential distressed properties, particularly in the commercial sector, leveraging our expertise to acquire and add value to the asset classes, and investing in our team’s development to navigate the road to our achievements. In addition, we recognized the importance of building a department for our client’s lifestyle and luxury sales services and continuing to elevate our property management division to secure resale values. 

Events to include on your 2025 calendar include our once-a-month Chinese American business luncheon. We believe in our local businesses and want to continue this mission in 2025. In addition, in our first quarter 2025 Real International business meeting, we will discuss our Flex Fund, designed to achieve five main goals: Preservation, Cash Flow, Growth, Tax Efficiency, and Liquidity.
