Real International — Austin, Texas — June 2026
Real International announces the completed sale of the Bastrop Land Project, an asset within its Harvest investment portfolio. The transaction has closed, and the firm is now administering the wind-down of the investment in accordance with the applicable governing documents. Investors in the project will receive direct communications regarding distributions through the firm’s investor relations channels.
This exit reflects Real International’s disciplined approach to real estate investment, asset management, and value creation across Central Texas.
Strategic Location in a Growing East Austin Corridor
The approximately 47-acre land parcel is located in Bastrop, one of the rapidly growing areas east of Austin. The site benefits from strong regional connectivity, including convenient access to Tesla’s Gigafactory, Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, and the broader technology and advanced manufacturing corridor surrounding SpaceX and The Boring Company.

Executing a Lend-to-Own Strategy
The project was structured around a Lend-to-Own strategy. Rather than participating as an equity partner at project inception, Real International initially positioned itself as a senior lender, with the land secured as primary collateral.
This strategy was designed to provide downside protection while preserving the ability to obtain control of the asset in a default scenario.

When the developer entered bankruptcy, Real International acquired full ownership of the property through formal foreclosure channels. This marked the transition from lender to landowner and established the foundation for the next phase of the project.
Repositioning the Asset to Unlock Value
Following the acquisition of ownership, Real International worked directly with local municipal authorities to restructure utility infrastructure and secure power capacity for the site, positioning the raw land for industrial development consistent with demand in the surrounding technology corridor.
Following this repositioning, the property was sold to a third-party buyer, completing the project’s full investment cycle: entry as a secured lender, active asset management, and disposition.

Looking Ahead
We thank the investors in the Harvest portfolio for their continued trust. Real International remains focused on real estate opportunities across Central Texas, grounded in disciplined underwriting, strategic structuring, and long-term value creation.
