Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Montage
We are excited to share that the groundbreaking ceremony for Montage Apartments, the buy-to-rent project in which Real International invested at the end of last year, took place last Thursday morning! As a long-term partner of the developer and investor of the project, Real International was invited to attend the ceremony.
Located in South Lamar on Austin’s South Shore, just 5 minutes from downtown, the 1.86-acre building is planned for 182 finished apartment units and is scheduled for completion in the spring of 2025. Montage condominiums are designed to reflect the south Austin character while also adhering to the City’s building plan restrictions. The building will be five stories, with residential units starting on the second floor and offering 6,000 square feet of retail space on the ground floor.
One of the highlights of Montage for buyers is the view of the downtown Austin skyline from the second floor balcony! According to the project manager, Montage was built with the intention of bringing more young Austinites to own their own homes in downtown at an affordable price.
